POSITION SUMMARY:


Under general direction of the Program Director, the Analytics Project Manager is responsible for the planning, implementation and delivery of all project requirements as defined within the scope of assigned projects. Such deliverables include financial management, data analytics, resource management, project planning tools and ownership, & schedule and implementation activities associated with the design, build, construct, test and implementation phases of assigned projects. The Analytics Project Manager is also responsible for developing reporting/analytics solutions in response to requests of a diverse scope. This individual will interact with the IT department to support development of the reporting/analytics tools necessary to accomplish the appropriate solution(s). This role has significant client visibility and requires proficient cross-functional capability.




PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for collecting, documenting, and confirming business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Works in close collaboration with business partners, solution architect and developers to ensure consistent understanding of business processes and requirements.
  • Work closely with QA team to review test plans and associated test case scenarios
  • Establishes project charters, scope and manages components of the project design and implementation of plans according to the guidelines established in the project charter, working closely with Programs management Team, and project sponsors
  • Accountable for financial objectives by managing project budget, maintaining and reporting on budget spend and forecasts requirements in accordance to overall project plan.
  • Directs activities across internal teams and resources to ensure successful project completion
  • Responsible for project completion according to assignments including but not limited to construction/installation, inspection, testing, training, and start up.
  • Creates and innovates organization/prioritization solutions like project Trackers for Innomar Programs Management Team in a number of formats, largely in Excel
  • Leads training of end users on the analytical tools developed
  • Analyzes large amounts of data to provide concise, targeted reports
  • Provides project management for IT implementations and database updates;
  • Ensures governance guidance is included for all tools created
  • Reviews and oversees all assigned client reports, including invoices and billing
  • Liaises and collaborates effectively with business partners in BI Group
  • Performs related duties as assigned



Job Requirements

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Requires training and experience in fields such as analytics, project management, data management, business administration, sales,, logistics, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education. PMP or Six-Sigma or equivalent credentials are considered an asset.
  • Requires a minimum of 5 years directly related in patient programs and/or pharma, with progressively responsible experience.


MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Project management or equivalent proven experience leading successful large complex initiatives
  • Ability to read data models and comprehend database structures and relationships
  • Advanced working knowledge with MS Office
  • Familiar with database design and modeling techniques
  • Demonstrates knowledge, understanding and experience leading projects related to Health Care Services, Pharmacy and Distribution Services
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; ability to communicate (and work) effectively with people from different technical and business backgrounds, acting as a liaison, understanding and appreciating different perspectives and translating into terms necessary for any group or individual to understand.
  • Ability to lead work teams to organize and prioritize effectively using tracker tools to manage strategic and tactical projects to successful completion
  • Good analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply knowledge to identify appropriate solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
  • Strong presentation skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail
  • Ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project
  • Prior experience with consulting, Six-Sigma, Lean Manufacturing or Kaizen is considered beneficial.
