Job Description

Reporting to the Program Director, the Senior District Manager is responsible for supporting the Director with the design and implementation of strategies to drive the field operations of the program portfolio by undertaking the management planning and implementation of specific projects assigned to them.


- Work closely with the District Manager to monitor key metrics and develop action plans for enhancing services; measure performance of field operations across programs
- Work closely with the Program Director, in preparing, editing, and maintain SOPs and Work Instructions in Master Control in relation to the field operations and ensure adherence to all required SOPs. Provide documentation when required
- Develop and introduce new initiatives to enhance business productivity
- Develop Work Orders and Work Instructions for field process changes and enhancements
- Assist with identifying gaps in training and provide insight to the District Manager on training that needs to be implemented.
- Design and development of new projects including development of protocols and database;
- Relationship building and understanding the needs of client and key stakeholders
- Collection and communication of feedback obtained in the field through relationship building with HCPs for entire portfolio (field and non-field assigned HCPs)
- Understand and implement training of best practices across Field Case Managers in collaboration with the District Manager
- Develop, project manage and ensure implementation of portfolio enhancements in collaboration with portfolio management team
- Work closely with the Director in the development of all client requested proposals
- Stay abreast of industry trends and important pending legislation impacting our business;
- Collaborate with internal and external resources and experts;
- Senior District Manager will also be assigned other responsibilities and duties as required
- Up to 20% travel across Canada required to visit with Field Case Managers, HCPs and Client.

Job Requirements

- Minimum of 5-7 years’ related experience
- Experience in patient assistance programs, and operational policies and processes required
- General knowledge of reimbursement and market access landscapes
- Strong pharmaceutical & biotechnology business knowledge, including client management and healthcare professional communications
- Strong customer/client management background


- Exceptional project management skills with experience in organizing, planning and executing projects from vision through implementation
- Good Analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills with demonstrated track record in new concept development for various projects
- Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Must be detailed-oriented and organized;
- Ability to strategically analyze data and performance and create client solutions
- Ability to work under pressure
- Critical thinking skills
- Strong communication skills, ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and strong presentation skills
- Effective interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to proficiently use a computer and good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel
- Ability to collaborate with different parties
- Must have a valid driver’s license and possess a car
- Overnight travel may be involved
